Muse 360 © offers extended esteem programming that provides students with an ability to explore other aspects of art such as choreography, dance history, language and geography through exploration workshops and field trips. Please see details outlined below:

Illustration Community Arts Project:
Dancing Many Drums

About the Project:

Dancing Many Drums (DMD) will offer youth an opportunity to explore aspects of the performing art such as choreography, history, language and geography. This program will expose students to various art disciplines, with a scholarly, yet hands on approach to study the development of Dance & Theatre along the African Diaspora. Dancing Many Drums is a unique program that was created to give our youth a chance to receive dance education beyond a traditional school setting.

Vision:
We would like to make this a continuous program for youth in Baltimore City given proper funding and resources

Workshop Scope:
The workshops will help build and enhance the likely contributions of the youth community participants. The workshops will precede each performance/
seminar to better prepare the students and to supplement the anticipated learning experience.

Arts in Education
Always among the highest expression of every culture, the arts teach us much about every historical period through its literature, visual arts, music, dance, and drama. Dancing Many Drums is a unique program that gives our youth a chance to receive art education beyond a traditional school setting.

We have been able to offer Dancing Many Drums in 3  Baltimore City schools over the last 4 months ; Windsor Hill Elementary, Guilford Elementary, and Dallas Nicholas Elementary.   During the 3-4 week period students explore several subjects including geography, language, and theory. This helps them understand their objective of looking at art as it relates to our culture and existence in our community.

MUSE 360 © offers artist- in- residency programs for all schools and organizations. Our programs provide people of diverse backgrounds and all ages to learn more through the arts.
